President of China Society for Human Rights Studies

Born in March 1934. Prof. Luo graduated from Law School, Peking University. He incumbently is Dean of School of Government of Peking University and Honorary Director of Peking University Soft Law Research Center. He is also Director of China-Republic of Korea Friendship Association and Deputy-director of China Association for International Understanding. President Luo held the positions of Chairman of the Central Committee of China Zhi Gong Party, Standing Member of the National Committee of the 8th CPPCC, Vice-chairman of the National Committee of the 9th and 10th CPPCC, Vice-president of the Supreme Court of PRC, Commissioner of Judicial Committee of the Supreme Court of PRC, President of China Council for Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification, Vice-chairman of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Vice-president of China Law Society and Vice-president of Peking University.
