The emblem of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is a yellow design of sickle and hammer against a red background. The red color symbolizes the revolution, while the yellow hammer and sickle together symbolize the working tools of workers and farmers. The emblem in general symbolizes that the CPC is the vanguard of the Chinese working class, and it represents the fundamental interests of the working class and the big majority of the Chinese people.
The Flag of the Communist Party of China is in red, with a golden Party emblem on it being highlighted.
Both the Party emblem and Party flag are the symbol and icon of the Communist Party of China. Party organizations at all levels and each party member must uphold the dignity of the Party emblem and flag, and to make and use them in prescribed ways. | |
