Official: Dalai's return to Tibet depends on himself

LHASA, June 20, 2008-- Whether the Dalai Lama could settle in Tibet depends on his own attitude, Palma Trily, executive vice chairman of Tibet, said here on Friday.

Officials from China's central government made contacts recently with private representatives of the Dalai Lama, and such contacts would go on, he told a press conference, without giving more details.
