According to the Ministry of Civil Affairs, as of Monday noon, the death toll in China's major earthquake stood at 69196. A total of 374,176 people were injured and people reported missing increased to 18,379 after the 8.0-magnitude quake rocked southwestern Sichuan Province and neighboring regions on May 12.

As of Monday noon, 1579700 tents, 4866900 sets of cotton-padded clothes, 3790000 million tons of power coal, and 1774000 tons of petroleum were delivered to the earthquake-affected areas.

In the 24 hours ending Monday noon, 201 aftershocks below 3.9 magnitudes were monitored in southwest China's quake zone, 1 aftershocks between 4.0 and 4.9 magnitudes were monitored, and none aftershock below 5.0 was monitored, according to the China Seismological Bureau. A total of 16,200 aftershocks had been detected since May 12.

As of Monday noon, 96,433 injured people were hospitalized and 87,466 have recovered and been charged. There are still 3,838 people remaining in hospitals, according to the Ministry of Health.

As of Monday noon, 55.049 bil yuan earmarked for disaster relief was allocated by governments at all levels, among which 49.748 bil yuan was from the central government and 5.301 bil yuan was from the local governments, according to the Ministry of Finance.

By Sonday, 432900 makeshift houses were built in quake-hit areas in Sichuan Province, 22100 makeshift houses were being built, 43800 makeshift houses were to be built, 21100 were on the way and 50300 were to be delivered, according to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

By Suday, 1472378 people were saved and transferred, according to the Headquarters of the General.
