Abstract of Paper “China’s Foreign Aids and Human Rights Concerns – Thoughts Provoked by Darfur Humanitarian Crisis”
China has made its every possible effort to promote the solution of the humanitarian crisis in the Darfur Region of Sudan since April 2007, and played a critical role in urging the Sudanese Government to accept the resolution of the United Nations to deploy an African Union-United Nations mixed peacekeeping troop in this region. However, the humanitarian crisis has posed a new task for China in the field of the international relations, that is, how China will look at the human rights issue in an important aid-receiving nation while China is striving to build an international image as a responsible country, and witnessing an increasing aid to the third world with the purpose of mutual benefit, and the main form of joint venture and cooperation. |
