The Honorary President of the IOC has called the Beijing Olympics a great success. Juan Antonio Samaranch says two key elements have contributed to their success, including excellent preparations and the best historical results for competitions. 

The Honorary President of the IOC has called the Beijing Olympics a great success.

Samaranch said, "My comment is that Beijing Olympics is the most successful one ever. And it will happen rarely in the future. Those are not only opinions from me, but also from the majority of international media and IOC officials."
