Scene of a workshop
BEIJING, January 9, 2008 -- From January 6 to 8, the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) held the second workshop for the Beijing Paralympic volunteer teaching staff.
Leading officials from BOCOG's Volunteer and Paralympic Games Departments, the Beijing Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation, the China Disabled Persons' Olympic Management Center, and consultants for the volunteer work of the Paralympics, attended the opening session.

The workshop opens.
The participants, numbering over 100, were briefed on the progress of the volunteer work for the Paralympics and the status of Chinese disabled persons on the first day of the course.
Coming from grassroots organizations supporting people with disabilities, the trainees will design and implement training programs for the volunteers to serve the Paralympics in September this year.

Teaching for small groups of trainees
During the workshop, a group of panelists appraised the results of the previous workshop. The trainees demonstrated their teaching techniques and methods as well their manners, which were commended by the panelists. The BOCOG Volunteers Department will award certificates to outstanding trainees.
