Applicants waiting for interview

BEIJING, February 2, 2008 -- On February 2, the organizers started to interview 40 applicants for voluntary services during the Beijing Paralympic Games in September.

The applicants, including those who have foreign language skills, were chosen from a pool of 12,000 to interview. On January 31, the recruiters started to interview applicants for positions as blind masseuses.

During the interview, the participants underwent a comprehensive examination of their knowledge about the Paralympic volunteer services, manners, language and other skills.

According to the organizers, the applicants who passed will be assigned to important venues to directly serve the spectators, respond to telephone calls from domestic and foreign callers, and provide information and language service.
