Respecting and safeguarding human rights is a major achievement of an advanced human society and an important symbol of a modern civilized society. It is not only a mutual pursuit of the world people, a common principle for world leaders governing their countries, but also a great objective pursued of the Chinese government and its people. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Chinese people never give up the pursuit in their efforts of more than half a century and China’s human rights cause has achieved historical progress. The purpose of this exhibition is to promote the scientific view of development by putting people first and the stated in the Constitutional Law: The State respects and safeguards human rights.
