Chinese Tibetan cultural delegation held an informal discussion with the representatives of the Chinese community in Sydney

June 18,2014--The Chinese Tibetan cultural delegation held an informal discussion with leaders and representatives of the Chinese community in Sydney in the club of Association for peaceful reunification of China in Australia on 16th, June. Both sides carried out the extensive exchanges in Tibet's religion, economy, education and other issues.   

At the forum, the head of the delegation, Luo Rong Zhan Dui, the  professor of Sichuan University, delivered a speech entitled " Chinese Tibet--past, present and future". Through his own on- the- spot investigation of many years, Luo Rong Zhan Dui vividly described Tibet's dramatically change since the peaceful liberation by comparing Tibet's old and new, which introduced a real Tibet to the audience.      

About 40 leaders and representatives of Chinese community in Sydney participated in the discussion. In the question and answer session, The associate professor of Tibet University Mei Lang Zong Zhen and the vice president of Sichuan Buddhism Association Daza Gentobdulasijiangcuo respectively answered the questions of Tibet's culture education and religion.       

Chinese Tibetan cultural delegation made up of 5 members arrived in Sydney on 15th, and held an informal discussion with the members of Asia and Pacific in New South Wales, the Australian Institute of international affairs in the branch of New South Wales on 16th. The delegation will arrive in Australia's capital, Canberra, to continue the visit on 17th.
