Chinese leaders stress people's well-being in discussion with lawmakers

BEIJING, March 7, 2014 -- China's top legislator Zhang Dejiang and other leaders on Friday joined lawmakers in examination of a government work report, calling for more efforts to improve people's well-being.

The report was delivered by Premier Li Keqiang at the opening of the annual session of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, on Wednesday.
