Nov. 20, 2014 -- DPRK released a series of articles listing US’s crimes in abusing human rights and named US as the worst human rights country in the world.

Rodong Sunmum, one of the most important papers in Korea published an article named “full of hypocrisy and arrogance” on November 19 said The Emancipation Proclamation released by former US president Lincoln in 1963 was intended at helping the North to win the South not at emancipating the slaves. African-American civil rights movements had been going on from 1955 to 1968; however, the problem of discrimination on the black remained unsolved.

The released articles of Rodong Sunmum also pointed out that United States Declaration of Independence in 1776 was published for protecting the interests of the white farmers and capitalist, which demonstrated that human rights in US was only for the ruling class. Besides, USS Pueblo, a spy ship was found in collecting intelligence information in the eastern coast in Korean Peninsula in 1986. All of these proved that US was abusing human rights and national power.
