China and UK held the 22th Human Rights Talks

April 24, 2015 -- Vice director of the Department of International Affairs of China's Foreign Ministry Shi Zhongjun and director of the Department of Asian and Pacific Affairs of Foreign & Commonwealth Office Li Feng co-chaired the 22th China-UK Dialogue on Human Rights in Beijing on Wednesday. Officials of departments on foreign affairs and justice from both sides attended the meeting.

Both sides exchanged views on human rights values, judicial protection of human rights and international human rights cooperation and introduced new progress on human rights protection and promotion respectively. Both sides agreed that the dialogue is frank, practical and constructive and they will continue to conduct human rights dialogues and exchanges on the basis of mutual respects and equality.

UK's delegation also visited relative judicial institutions on Tuesday under the arrangement of China.
