Chinese scholar attends human rights seminar in Uzbekistan

Dec.2,2015--Tang Yingxia, Deputy Director of the Research Center for Human Rights of Nankai University, attended an international seminar on protecting human rights and freedom in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan on November 26 and 27. 
 
Tang delivered a speech on “The environmental rights protection: its international law principles and China’s practice.” He was invited by the Uzbekistan National Human Rights Center and appointed by China Society for Human Rights Studies (CSHRS).
 
Tang gave an interview on the sidelines of the seminar and talked about the common challenges faced with the human rights development in China and Uzbekistan and China’s experiences in human rights development. 
 
Experts and scholars from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and representatives from the Uzbekistan government and NGOs attended the seminar.
