China, UK held 22nd Human Rights Dialogue

On April 22, 2015, the 22nd Human Rights Dialogue was held in Beijing. The dialogue was co-hosted by Shi Zhongjun, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Stephen Lillie, Head of the Asia Pacific Directorate at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the UK. Diplomatic and judicial officials from both sides attended the Dialogue. 
Both sides exchanged views on human rights, gave an introduction to their latest achievements in protecting and promoting human rights, and exchanged views on the judicial guarantee of human rights, international cooperation on human rights and other issues. Both sides agreed that the Dialogue is candid, practical and constructive, and will continue to hold human rights dialogues and exchanges on the basis of mutual respect and equal treatment. 
After the dialogue, the UK delegation visited related judicial institutions in Beijing on April 21, 2015.
