2016 China-Europe human rights seminar eyes ethnic minorities

Sept. 29, 2016 -- The 2016 China-Europe seminar on human rights was held in Chongqing on Wednesday, during which experts and scholars exchanged views on ethnic minorities’ rights protection. 
 
The seminar is sponsored by China Society for Human Rights Studies (CSHRS), attracting over 50 Chinese and European experts and scholars to participate. 
 
“China has made great progress in human rights undertakings under the guidance of President Xi’s new concepts and thoughts,” said Cui Yuying, deputy director of the State Council Information Office at the opening ceremony.
