Nov. 21, 2017 -- The seventh China-U.S. Judicial and Human Rights Seminar co-sponsored by China Foundation For Human Rights Development and the National Committee on US-China Relations was held in New York on Nov.14 and 15.

More than 20 judicial experts and judges and lawyers from the two sides held in-depth discussions about judicial construction and human rights protection at the seminar.

The Chinese delegation was headed by Huang Jin, deputy president of China Foundation For Human Rights Development, deputy president of China Law Society and president of China University of Political Science and Law. Huang said the seminar was held after the Communist Party of China concluded the 19th national congress and president Trump wrapped up his China visit.

Huang said the 19th CPC national congress has been of epochal significance. It has offered the blueprint for China's future development and made strategic plans for developing the cause of human rights and strengthening judicial protection for human rights.
