The protection of human rights can’t be achieved without rule of law. The CPC Central Committee with President Xi Jinping as the core has always put the people at the core position, adhered to people-centered development thoughts, integrated rule of law with human rights protection to improve China’s human rights development.

China is entering a new stage of law construction and human rights protection. The socialist law system with Chinese characteristics centered by the Constitution has been improving. A law-based government has boosted human rights protection in law enforcement.
