June 5, 2018 -- The third South-South Education Program for Economics and Finance was held recently in Beijing. 25 representatives from the UN and 23 developing countries participated the program.
Representatives gained a better understanding of China through classroom communication and field visits.
“I see China’s innovation capacity during my visit to high-tech enterprises, and in the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and the Silk Road Fund, I get to know China’s goals and aspirations to promote global cooperation,” said Nazira Beshinareva, representative of Kyrgyzstan
“By learning from each other, developing countries could avoid taking the roundabout route in economic development,” said Stephen Kagbo, United Nations Industrial Development Organization representative to Tanzania, Mauritius and East African Community.
“I hope to introduce China’s remote sensing analysis technology to South Africa to promote the agricultural development,” said Stephen Hannival, representative of South Africa.
“China has been a problem solver and we expect that China will play a bigger role in supporting the development of developing countries,” said Moher Shagjatatov, representative of Uzbekistan.
