CSHRS delegation visits Germany, Irish

June 19,2019-- A delegation of the China Society for Human Rights Studies (CSHRS) visited Germany and Irish from June 12 to June 18.
The delegation, headed by Qiangba Puncog, President of the CSHRS, held talks with parliament members, diplomats, scholars from think-tanks and universities.
Since the founding of People’s Republic of China in 1949, especially the reform and opening-up, China has developed the largest education, social security and democratic elections systems in the world. People’s rights and dignity have been fully realized, said President Qiangba Puncog.
He said that China will work with Germany, Irish and other countries to make the global governance system more fair and reasonable and build a common community with a shared future for mankind.
Liu Xiaoxiong, official of Germany Hanns Seidel Stiftung, spoke highly of the remarkable achievements made by China in poverty reduction.
Irish Senate President Dennis O'Donovan said that he was inspired by the progress in China’s legal protection of human rights.
Lepel, Director for Asian and Pacific Affairs, Federal Foreign Office, Germany, said that the international society should strengthen communication and learn from each other on human rights issues.
Human rights experts of the two countries called for conductive communication and cooperation in human rights.
