Abstract: 30th anniversary of the UN Declaration on the Right to Development once again put the issue of practical implementation of the declared right to development to the forefront. Despite wide understanding of the fundamental issue of the right to development for sustainable development of entire humankind few real steps were made since the Declaration was adopted. Even some progress on the issue on national level in relatively developed European countries was jeopardized by latest catastrophic development in the Middle-East and African regions, lead to European Migrant‘s and Global economic and social crises.

This international Seminar in Beijing is an excellent opportunity to discuss Declaration basic principles, to reach an agreement on rights-based approach to sustainable development in response to the grave economic, social and environmental crises confronting the world today. To put it bluntly, there is no real development possible unless it transcends the present economic and social system that engenders these crises.

Only mutual effort on this issue on Global level can lead to the success.
