Development has been an eternal theme since the establishment of the human society. With the development of social productive forces, remarkable achievements have been made in human development. But at the same time, problems such as uneven distribution of resources, unreasonable systems, and structural disequilibrium of development are becoming more and more serious. In 1986, the Declaration on the Right to Development was adopted through the United Nations General Assembly resolution 41/128, which provided a guiding document for better human development. Since the founding of the People‘s Republic of China, great progresses have been made in the economic construction of China as a developing country. The basic human rights of 1.3 billion people are effectively guaranteed, making a great contribution to promoting the development of the human society. But we still have a lot of development issues that need to be solved and development tasks that need to be completed. This article will start from promoting international cooperation by active development of public diplomacy, analyze the practices of the Chahar Institute as an example, and open up a new approach for promoting the realization of shared development and bringing more benefits to all peoples in the world.
