Gustavo Ng (San Nicolas, Argentina, 1962). Chinese-descendant journalist. Since 1981 he has worked in national media (Radiodifusión Argentina al Exterior, Canal 2 San Nicolás, Clarín newspaper, ? Magazine, SERSAT, Bariloche Vision Codificada), Japan (The Yomiuri Shimbun) and Spain (diario El Mundo). He is the founder and current editor of Dangdai Magazine, dedicated to cultural exchange between China and Argentina. He has been spokesman at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Buenos Aires.
He is the author of articles about China in different media (newspapers Tiempo Argentino, Perfil, La Nación) and in the books "We - Chronicles of the Cultural Closeness of China and Argentina" (China Intercontinental Press, Beijing, 2018), "Oral History: Witnesses to the Cultural Exchange between China and Latin America” (Blossom Press, Beijing, 2019). He is co-author of the book “Everything You Need to Know about China” (Editorial Paidós, 2016) and author of “Mariposa de Oto?o” (‘Autumn Butterfly’) (El Bien del Sauce Editions, 2017, declared of Cultural Interest by the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires) and “10,134 kilometers inside China” (Blossom Press, Beijing 2021). He is the author and compiler of “China – Overcoming Poverty” (Ediciones Universidad de Congreso, Mendoza, 2020). He has given courses and conferences on the relationship between Argentina and China at the University of Buenos Aires, Beijing Language and Culture University, Renmin University, Shanghai International Studies University, Xi'an International Studies University, Renmin University, Torcuato Di Tella University, Instituto Universitario of Cooperation, Minzu University, CONICET and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
