An international seminar on anti-terrorism, de-radicalization and human rights protection was held in Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on September 6, 2019.
Over 60 experts and scholars from 18 countries and international organizations including France, India, Turkey, Afghanistan and China attended the seminar, sponsored by the China Society for Human Rights Studies.

China on September 24 lodged resolute opposition to the United States and urged the U.S. side to cancel the relevant event, and stop making irresponsible remarks and interfering in China's internal affairs by using human rights excuses.
