China Women's Development Foundation (CWDF) was established in December 1988, and is a nation-wide non-profit social welfare organization registered in Ministry of Civil Affairs and approved by People's Bank of China. In 2000, under the guidance of President Chen Muhua's thought "establishing social welfare brands with women's features'', China Women's Development Foundation successfully founded "Land of Love" social welfare brand. On January 31t, 2002, The new Council of China Women's Development Foundation, with comrade Chen Muhua as the president, was established.
